As part of a military exercise, North Korea has fired four strategic cruise missiles, according to state media, to show off its capability to launch a nuclear response. The launches took place as South Korea and the United States practised for a simulated military operation in Washington, DC, in preparation for potential nuclear threats from North Korea.
